Well anyway if you have already updated your T-mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 to the new firmware ‘UVUFNB4′, and need a quick and safe way to Root it you are good to go….The below step-by-step guide is the easiest way to do that for sure.   Just make sure that you have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 with build version: M919UVUFNB4 (NOTE: Do not try it on any other s4 variants)

Requirements:
  • This step-by-step rooting tutorial is 100% safe and working therefore Android.Root.Central will not be responsible for any damage to your phone.
  • A windows based PC.
  • T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 on Android 4.4.2 KitKat [M919UVUFNB4].
  • Make a backup of your important Data because Unlocking Bootloader wipes Data.
  • Make sure to Enable ‘USB Debugging’ from phone Settings>Developers Options.
  • At least charge your phone up to 60%.
  • Samsung USB Drivers or Samsung Kies.(if you do not have Kies in your PC simply grab the Samsung USB Drivers from HERE.
  • Odin3 v3.09 Download.
  • CF-AUTO-ROOT-PACKAGE Download.

How to Root T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 on Android 4.4.2 KitKat [M919UVUFNB4] Using CF-Auto-Root:

 Step 1: Download the required files from the above given links and keep them in one place i.e. Desktop.(also unzip CF-AUTO-ROOT-PACKAGE somewhere).
Step 2: Install the required Samsung USB Drivers(No need to install them if you have Kies installed, else go for it).
Step 3: Now turn off your phone to enter the (Download Mode) by pressing and holding the (Volume Down + Home + Power buttons) at the same time for a few seconds and release it when you see a warning message on your screen (see below if you don’t get it). Download-Mode-on-Galaxy-S4-Mini
Step 4: Now you will be prompted to press the volume up button to continue simply hit it.
Step 5: open Odin 3.09 App from your PC and connect your phone to PC using a data cable.

Step 6: Let the USB drivers load on your PC and wait for Odin ‘ID:COM’ port to turn blue, with a message on Odin  Added. This ensures that you are successfully connected to Odin and good to go further for flashing the auto-cf-root package.
Step 7:  Click on the (AP) button located on Odin App and browse the Auto-CF-Root package that you downloaded, select the ‘CF-Auto,-Root-jfltetmo-jfltetmo-sghm919.tar.md5′ file.
Step 8: Finally hit the (START) button in Odin to initiate flashing the CF-Root package.
Step 9:  Just wait for a minute or two to let Odin flash your phone with the rooted kernel, Once the process will be completed you will be prompted with a (Pass) message on Odin App and your Phone will reboot automatically.
You just Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919. Move on to checking the Success of Rooting attempt by Installing ‘Root Checker App’ from Playstore.
